Lucky's is a story about family, migration, a man called Lucky, his restaurant chain, an unthinkable tragedy and a story of love lost, sought and won again.

Panel Discussion 

Book for an online panel discussion on Greek Australian Milk Bars: Past and Present.

Tuesday, 9 February at 12:30pm

Victoria Murray from Bathurst Library will facilitate a panel discussion featuring guest speakers Leonard Janiszewski and Barbara Godfrey.

Leonard Janiszewski, historian and author of Greek Cafes and Milk Bars of Australia, will take us on a fascinating trip down memory lane sharing stories of the milk bar culture. 

Barbara Godfrey will also share her experiences as director of Parry's Milk Bar, Caringbah, an iconic retro styled milk bar with a modern twist that is still successfully operating after 62 years.

Andrew Pippos will be in conversation with Amy Heap from Riverina Reginal Libraries.
