Planting day on Wangal Country

Planting day on Wangal Country

Brays Bay Reserve View in maps

Bring the bush back, one plant at a time!

We're excited to be part of an ambitious national movement to plant 96,500 native plants across Australia, uniting communities and nature in one powerful mission through the Healthy Cities Landcare Grant. You can be part of it too!

Come along on 28 March or 30 May to plant native species on Wangal Country. You'll be helping to create a vibrant green corridor connecting McIlwaine Park, Rhodes Park and the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway.

Every plant you put in the ground helps bring these habitats to life; attracting more colourful birds, sun-loving lizards and buzzing native insects for everyone to enjoy.

Be part of something big. Be part of something national. Be part of something that grows.

This project is proudly powered by Bupa and Landcare Australia through a Healthy Cities Landcare Grant – and made possible by volunteers.
