Remembrance Day

The City of Canada Bay will be holding a Remembrance Day service at Queen Elizabeth Park on Sunday, 11 November. Remembrance Day is a nationally recognised day of commemoration with this year making the Centenary of the Armistice. At 11am on 11 November 1918 guns on the Western Front fell silent after four years of brutal warfare. The ceremony will provide the opportunity for veterans and the community to acknowledge our past and join together in gratitude.

The ceremony will commence at 10:30am, culminating with a pause for reflection at 11am.
