River beasts, art and you

Meet some river and marine creatures up close with Diver Dave. You can touch and learn about their worlds, explore Chiswick Baths and collect water from the Parramatta River to see what lives there.

You can also unleash your creativity and create artwork for the City of Canada Bay on wooden stools to be used at events or in Council facilities. Take home a boomerang or mini-clipboard frame and show off your art skills. This art session is run by local artist Julie Peadon.

Discover how water runs into our river systems with this event, part of Riverfest, a celebration of our living river.

Sessions

1 - 3pm Create art with Julie

2 - 4pm Diver Dave water creatures

With Diver Dave you may go in the water to collect creatures so please wear gumboots or water sneakers and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Children under the age of 10 will need to be supervised by an adult.
