School holiday fun: crazy science show

A colourful, creative, crazy science show for children aged 7-12 years, brought to you by City of Canada Bay Libraries.

See bubbling dry ice rainbows, colour changing chemical reactions, glow in the dark pigments, elephants toothpaste, stringy slimes, and much, much more! This amazing show covers a broad range of mind-boggling chemical concepts that are designed especially for children and includes:

  • Kitchen chemistry found at home
  • Physical changes vs chemical reactions
  • Acids vs bases and indicators to detect them
  • Acid rain
  • Properties of solids, liquids and gases
  • UV light and glowing chemicals
  • Energy changes and more.

Bookings are essential and places are limited so get your tickets early to be part of the entertainment!

Please note this event is being held at Concord Community Centre in the Function Room.

The health and safety of our community remains our top priority. This is a COVID safe event. Council is following the latest State and Federal health guidelines, and if any COVID-19 restrictions increase, this event may be cancelled or postponed.

A ticket is required for each participant, including attending adults. Please provide contact details for each family member and consider limiting your bookings to ONE adult per group.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite from 10:30am Monday, 5 April and close at 5pm on Thursday, 7 April.
