Schools Tree Day

This year, Council will provide a number of free native plants to local schools within the LGA, along with advice on appropriate species selection and identifying the best place to position plants for successful growth.

In addition to creating a living educational resource close to the school, staff and students will learn about the role native plants play in providing habitat for native birds and animals, a surprisingly diverse number of which live in our City.
