Want to know how bees are important for our environment? Are you considering being an urban beekeeper? Come along and join expert beekeeper, Carl Skinner, in exploring bee biology and habits, responsible beekeeping basics, and find out how you can be an urban beekeeper. Participants will get a chance to look at a hive and will get to taste some honey (subject to availability). This workshop is a great introduction to bees and beekeeping in urban spaces.

Please note: bookings are essential as capacity is limited.

This event is only open to residents of the City of Canada Bay. Proof of residency will be required and all attendees will need a confirmed booking to attend. Interested participants from out of the Local Government Area will be placed on a waitlist.

As this is a free popular workshop/event, it is essential that all bookings are filled. No-shows at previous Council workshops will not be given priority for this or future workshops/excursions and will be placed on the waiting list.

In the case that this event is fully booked, your details will be added to an automated waitlist. For further information, please contact Council's Sustainability team at 9911 6555.
