Did you know you don't need a lot of space to create a productive garden? You can create clusters of edible plants, native flower ecosystems or a combination of both right along a wall on your balcony or on the wall of your house.

Join us for a morning packed with useful information about vertical garden construction and maintenance coupled with hands on experience in seed planting and creating your own soil from scratch. Gardening expert, Steve Batley from Sydney Organic Gardens, will teach you everything you need to know.

In the event of wet weather, this workshop will be moved to an alternate close by location or postponed to a later date. You will be advised by email from Council.
This event is not suitable for children under 12 years old. Children under the age of 14 will need to be supervised by a responsible adult.

This is a free event. It is essential that all bookings are filled. No-shows at previous Council workshops will not be given priority for future workshops/excursions and be placed on the waiting list.
Limited places are available and registrations are required. Priority will be given to residents of the City of Canada Bay. Proof of residency may be required. Interested participants from out of the LGA will be placed on a waitlist.
