Bushcare is a volunteer program that enables community members to participate in the restoration, enhancement and maintenance of natural areas within the City of Canada Bay.

Our Bushcare staff, volunteers and bush regeneration contractors work within the endangered ecological community known as Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest. Their aim is to restore the forest to its former natural condition.

Yaralla is City of Canada Bay's largest and most significant patch of bushland.

Meets: Every second Wednesday at the Drive, Yaralla Estate, Concord and every third Saturday at the car park behind Concord RSL

Time: 9am-noon (8.30-11.30am during warmer months)

Please wear sturdy closed shoes, comfortable clothes and a hat.

New volunteers must contact City of Canada Bay Bushcare before volunteering for the first day. Registered volunteers will receive a monthly notification regarding workday details.
