Jump Track Jam Highlights

On Saturday 14 June 2025, the City of Canada Bay hosted Jump Track Jam to mark the official opening of the new Jump Track at Major’s Bay Reserve—and the event was a huge success.

The afternoon brought together bikes, beats, and a strong sense of community spirit, celebrating a vibrant new space designed for riders of all ages and skill levels. The event also coincided with the completion of a striking mural by Western Sydney Korean-Australian artist Sam Absurd, adding colour and character to the precinct.

Organised in partnership with Dyss Events, the program featured a wide range of activities both on and off the track.

Local talent DJ Mali and DJ Drew kept the energy high throughout the day, with MC Brodie engaging the crowd. Freestyle Now and BMX Mafia joined forces to deliver pro rider demos, showcasing impressive tricks and skills that wowed spectators.

A toolbox talk was held to emphasise the importance of helmet safety, followed by coaching sessions for riders young and old—from tots to parents—encouraging safe and confident riding.

Jump Track Jam was part of the wider celebrations for the opening of the Majors Bay Road Precinct, a revitalisation project delivering new public spaces, facilities, and improved connectivity for the community.
