Local Transport Forum

City of Canada Bay Local Transport Forum

Local Transport Forums are held at 10am on the second Thursday of each month (with the exception of January). These meetings may commence with a Public Forum, and the Local Transport Forum begins immediately thereafter in a closed session.

At the Forum, Council staff and key stakeholders review local transport projects and initiatives, consider community feedback received through Council's engagement processes, and discuss recommendations and next steps.

Meetings are held at the Canada Bay Civic Centre, 1A Marlborough Street, Drummoyne.

Public Forum

Where a Public Forum occurs, the session will be held prior to a Local Transport Forum to provide community members the opportunity to speak on a project or matter being considered by the Forum.

At the conclusion of the Public Forum, members of the public will leave the chamber before the Local Transport Forum continues as a closed meeting.

How to apply to address a Public Forum

A meeting agenda will be published two weeks prior to each meeting. 

Community members can request to address the Public Forum on items in an agenda by completing the Request to Address LTF Public Forum application by 1pm on the Wednesday one week prior to the meeting. No late submissions will be accepted.

Applicants must read the Public Forum Procedure before applying to address the Public Forum.

Where a Public Forum is held, it will be livestreamed and recorded. The livestream covers the Public Forum only and does not include the remainder of the Local Transport Forum meeting, which is closed to the public.
