Closure of Lovedale Place temporary car park

Following the opening of a new parking facility on Hospital Road, Lovedale Place will close as a car park on Friday, 7 February 2025 at 6:00am, making way for its restoration into a vibrant green space.
Lovedale Place was converted into a temporary car park during the COVID-19 pandemic to address the increased demand for parking near the hospital precinct. Now, we are excited to restore this space to its intended purpose.
Council advised NSW Health of the upcoming closure of the temporary carpark in late 2024 and the City of Canada Bay is now working with NSW Health to transform Lovedale Place into a beautiful green space for the community to enjoy in 2025.
