Accessing Public Transport

| 27 March 2013

Mayor Angelo Tsirekas invites our senior residents to partake in an accessing public transport workshop in April.

City of Canada Bay is hosting three transport workshops throughout April for its senior citizens. The workshops will be held on Tuesday, 2 April from 10-11am at Concord Library; Friday, 5 April from 10.30-11.30am at Drummoyne Community Centre and Tuesday, 9 April from 10-11am at Council’s Rhodes Office.

“These workshops are about encouraging our senior residents to find out what services are available to them,” Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.

The workshops will discuss how to access local services, as well as the connectivity options available for linking up to services in and outside of Canada Bay. They will also provide a great opportunity to share transport habits and tips with others, as well as discuss safer travel around the community.

These are free workshops, however bookings are essential. To reserve your place please contact Ju’eta Amir on 9911 6580 or email .
