City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas is encouraging our community to celebrate Youth Week which will be held from Friday, 5 April to Sunday, 14 April.
In celebration of our youth, City of Canada Bay will be hosting two events. The first is Tee Off at Concord Library on Saturday, 6 April from 6 – 8pm. Join in this free event for 12 – 18 year olds for an evening of fun and games. There will be nine holes of mini golf, karaoke, games, slushies, pizza, giant jenga and much more.
The second is the Skate Comp & Clinic, returning for another year to Five Dock Skate Park on Saturday, 13 April. The Clinic will run from 10am – 12pm followed by the comp from 1 – 4pm.
Don’t miss out on these free events. There will be prizes, games, food and your chance to win a voucher from JB Hi-Fi, Anime at Abbotsford, Concord Golf Club and Five Dock Music Club.
Youth Week is the largest celebration of young people aged 12 - 24 in Australia and highlights the positive contributions young people make to our community.
