Christmas in Canada Bay

Community & events | 03 December 2019

The Mayor’s charity gift giving initiative, free Christmas craft, and Carols in the Park are a few of the many Christmas highlights across the City.

“I encourage you to join in the real spirit of Christmas and support St Vincent de Paul by bringing donations of non-perishable food items, new toys, toiletries and gift cards for the Mayor's Giving Tree from 2–13 December,” City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.

Submit your gifts to Council’s Civic Centre in Drummoyne, libraries in Five Dock, Concord and Rhodes, or Five Dock Leisure Centre. Items will be distributed by local St Vincent de Paul conferences to help those in need.

“The holiday season is a special time of year where the community spirit really shines through,” City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said. “We have a variety of great events on over the Christmas period and I encourage everyone to get involved and celebrate with the community.”
