All recycling, waste and garden organics collection services will continue as usual over the Christmas and New Year period.
Please put bins out for servicing on the night before your usual collection day, as collections may start earlier.
You can call us anytime, including on public holidays, on 9911 6555. Council’s Civic Centre in Drummoyne will be closed from 12pm on Friday, 22 December and will reopen on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.

The Community Recycling Centre will be closed from 17 December and reopen on 2 January.
Five Dock Leisure Centre will be closed from 18 December and reopen on 8 January.
It will operate reduced hours from 8–12 January from 9am–5:30pm.
Concord Oval Recreation Centre will operate reduced hours on Christmas Eve, from 7am–12pm.
It will be closed from 25–26 December, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
The Centre will operate reduced hours from 27–30 December from 7am–6pm.
It will operate reduced hours on 31 December, New Year's Eve, from 7am–12pm.
The Centre will be closed on New Year's Day and reopen on 2 January.
All of our libraries, including The Learning Space, will be closed from 23 December and reopen on 27 December.
They will operate reduced hours from 27–29 December. Concord and Five Dock Library will open from 9:30am–5pm, and the Learning Space will open from 10am–5pm.
They will close again from 30 December and reopen on 2 January.
