An unused ticket booth attached to Drummoyne Oval is looking for someone to call it home.

Do you think there should be a café in the empty ticket booth at Drummoyne Oval?

This is the question the City of Canada Bay are asking community members.

Currently, the ticket booth at the Drummoyne Oval pavilion is only used once or twice a year.

“There is great potential for this booth to be transformed into a fantastic local café serving coffee and snacks for our community here at Drummoyne Oval and Taplin Park,” City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.

“From dog walkers enjoying the beautiful foreshore and community members taking children to the playground, to weekend football participants and cricket lovers, our sport and recreation precinct at Drummoyne Oval is a hive of activity.”

“I invite everyone to express their ideas about our café proposal and help our vision for a place where friends can meet over a latte.”

Help plan the park’s future and let Council know how you’d like to experience the café.
