To celebrate Planet Ark’s National Tree Day on Sunday, 31 July, Council has organised planting activities and a barbeque at Arthur Walker Reserve in Concord West.
Arthur Walker Reserve contains a significant remnant of the endangered ecological community Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest.
City of Canada Bay is committed to the on-going recovery of this regionally significant vegetation community and the support of the bushcare activities in the park.
Gloves, tools, planting equipment and drinking water will be provided.
The Planet Ark Schools Tree Day will be held on Friday, 29 July.
