The state’s premier golf championship will be played at Concord Golf Club from 25–28 March 2021.

“Our City is pleased to host the NSW Open Championship, one of the most important golf fixtures in the Australian golf calendar,” City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.

The host venue, Concord Golf Club, is no stranger to professional golf or the NSW Open, having hosted the tournament 10 times in its 90 year history.

“We’re extremely proud of the high calibre of sport that continues to return to our area each year,” Mayor Tsirekas said.

“We are thrilled to welcome back the NSW Open and be part of the event’s distinguished history.”

The list of players who have been crowned at the NSW Open Champion at Concord is extensive and includes some of the greatest names in Australian golf.

Vic Richardson, Eric Cremin and Norman Von Nida all tasted victory at the course, while four-time champion Greg Norman made the tournament his own during the 1980s, winning the NSW Open at Concord three times in five years.

This year, golf legends such as Peter Fowler and Marcus Fraser are set to tee up in an effort to join the event’s distinguished Honour Roll.

Watch all the action up close while also enjoying a host of fun family activities including longest drive and putting competitions. Visitors can also explore the surrounding area including the much-loved shopping and dining precinct along Majors Bay Road, and the Rhodes peninsula.

The NSW Open Championship forms part of the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia and players are vying for a prize fund of $400,000.
