The City of Canada Bay has once again developed a great calendar of summer events in Rhodes for the whole community to enjoy, says Mayor Angelo Tsirekas.
“We have just released our summer program for ‘Revel at Rhodes’ 2015/16 and there is something for everyone, with events ranging from badminton and table tennis to food trucks and play groups," he said.
‘Revel @Rhodes’ kicks off with festive season celebrations including a Christmas Tree in Town Square, Christmas Carols on 12 December and even Santa photos for your pooches!
The event calendar will roll through summer and will focus on fun, fitness, education, food, culture, families and kids.
Some of the events will be held throughout summer such as the free table tennis in Peg Patterson Park and the introduction of Sydney Food Trucks to Rhodes. All of the events are designed to encourage the community to get out and about, meet new people and enjoy the lifestyle at Rhodes.
