The retaining wall is located behind a bus stop just east of Wolseley Street.
Due to the size of the trees, cranes are required to carry out the work, which will interrupt the bus lane and the first traffic lane on Victoria Road.
Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) has provided our contractor with a road occupancy license for Monday 25 August between 9pm and 5am.
Council will expedite the work in a bid to keep the noise to early in the evening but unfortunately it cannot make any guarantees.
Adjacent residents are aware of this work and the timing.
A design process is underway for upcoming repairs to the retaining wall.
