This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Henry Lawson whose poems and short stories captured the spirit of the Australia of his time. Born in Grenfell on 17 June 1867, he spent the last period of his life at Abbotsford, where he died in 1922.
Join us for an inspiring evening with Susannah Fullerton for a talk about Henry Lawson's life and work. Susannah is well known for her talks which truly breathe life into great literature.
To celebrate Mother's Day, join us as Natasha Lester talk about her popular book A Kiss from Mr Fitzgerald.
Every guest will receive a card for a free makeover at participating cosmetics stores in Burwood or in the City.
Light refreshments will be provided after the talk. Bookings are essential.
