sARTorial: Fun With Wearable Electronics for Kids 8-12 years - make items that light up.

In this fun, hands-on workshop, participants will construct cool cardboard costumes and paper prototype creations, and embed them with awesome programmable LEDs at this Vivid Ideas event. They’ll learn to code in Arduino, to make their LEDs create different colours and patterns. No experience necessary, just bring your creativity and be ready to light fashion creations! We’re teaming up with our friends from dLux Media Arts for this workshop.

Want to learn how to design 3D objects for printing?

Using Autodesk, participants will learn how to create and customise a game piece for a set of checkers. These game pieces will be used and played with by visitors to The Learning Space at The Connection, Rhodes. This workshop is suitable for children aged 8-14.
