Access & Inclusion Awareness

Various Locations

City of Canada Bay is shining a light on the importance of access and inclusion by supporting a range of activities over the next month, including:

  • International Day of People with a Disability from 11am on Saturday, 3 December at The Connection, Rhodes
  • Community Circles Info Session Morning Tea from 11am on Tuesday, 6 December at Concord Library Function Room
  • The Access and Inclusion Committee's employment survey. This is open until mid January and we are seeking input from local business owners and employers and people with disability. Take the survey at www.bit.ly/ccbemploymentsurvey.

Stay tuned for the opportunity to view the short film 'Gaslit' about a young disabled woman's fight for independence and to hold on to her identity in the face of discrimination. Read more on the official website. Please note that this film is for mature audiences (15+).
