Concord Community Garden Open Day

Come and visit the Concord Community Garden for their Open Day on Sunday, 18 October between 10am–2pm. Everyone is welcome to explore the garden, meet and chat with CCG members, discover what’s growing, and connect with others who share a passion for gardening.

Urban Grow will be hosting a practical, hands-on workshop for gardeners of all experience levels. Whether you have a backyard, balcony or just a small space, discover how to create a healthy, productive and sustainable garden. Learn how to choose the right plants, pots and soil, keep your garden healthy, avoid costly mistakes and make the most of water-wise gardening techniques. You’ll also explore how to use beautiful plants to create welcoming habitats for birds, bees, butterflies and lizards while building healthier, more sustainable gardens.

While you’re there, take the time to explore Concord Community Garden, browse the plant sale, and meet the Inner West Beekeepers to learn more about bees and urban beekeeping.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just getting started, there’ll be plenty to see, learn and take home with you.
