Georgia Freebody is an artist local to Five Dock. Her work was featured in an exhibition in the library last year as a series of surrealist stories. Her exhibition, Adaptations, extends this theme by focusing on animals and their environments out of context. 

Her works showcase colourful characters and their relationships with their surroundings in beautiful, strange, and absurd scenarios. 

Calling all knitters! Wrap with Love is a not-for-profit organisation which organises volunteers to make wraps from knitted squares. The wraps are then sent to communities around the world to help those less fortunate.

Please bring 8 ply yarn and no. 8 or 4mm knitting needles. Concord and Five Dock libraries are drop off points for completed squares, wraps, donations of wool and knitting needles.
