Join us at Five Dock Library during Science Week 2026 for an interactive workshop about the gut-brain connection.
Presented by Neural Knitworks, part of the Gut Feelings Community Art Project, you will have the opportunity to knit, crochet and engage in no-knit crafting. You will create colourful textile representations of microbes from patterns provided, all while learning how gut-brain connections contribute to our overall well-being and mental health. This workshop will be led by two artists.
Experience the art of connection and creativity at Concord Library during NAIDOC Week with our weaving connections workshop.
Connect with others while you share a yarn and weave with Muruwari artist, Dr Virginia Keft. No prior experience is necessary; whether this is your first time or you are an experienced weaver, everyone is welcome.
Workshops are held in a yarning circle, a continuous and non-hierarchical format where people can sit, yarn, and weave together.
