The Learning Space is proud to present The Great Year and the Seventy-Two Seasons, a new work by Blue Mountains artist Chris Caines.

The Great Year and the Seventy-Two Seasons is a contemplative four-channel video artwork that contrasts the current 72-year median human lifespan with the precessional rotation of the Earth’s axis over 26,000 years. To put this in perspective, seventy-two years is the equivalent of one-degree of the Earth’s 360-degree rotation around the sun.

Tech Shed is a weekly get-together on Thursday mornings for those who want to make things, learn new skills, meet people, and contribute to the community. Meet up for 3D printing, robots, and electronics.

Tech Shed is part of Harry's Shed (City of Canada Bay Men's Shed Inc). Membership to this organisation is required after initial attendance.
