National Recycling Week runs from 11-17 November, and throughout November, visit our libraries for inspiration on how to reuse and repair everyday household items and reduce waste.

Displays at Concord and Five Dock Libraries will offer ideas on repairing furniture, mending clothes, and fixing bicycles. Learn practical ways to reduce food waste in the kitchen and make the most of food scraps. Plus, explore how you can recycle materials for kids’ crafts, sparking creativity and environmental awareness.

Drop in to Youth Space with your friends to grab a hot chocolate and a snack. We have space for you to study, play board games, do activities, and much more!

A qualified and experienced youth worker will also be available to speak to and provide you with support (if you require it). 

Youth Space is a free and safe place for you and your friends to drop in. No bookings are required.
