Did you know that Coastal Saltmarsh communities are endangered ecological communities throughout Australia?
The City of Canada Bay is one of the few Council areas in Sydney where these special salt tolerant species still survive, growing in inter-tidal zones, usually behind a band of protective mangroves. Coastal Saltmarsh vegetation communities play a crucial role in supporting marine species and shorebirds, and also have the ability to capture and store high amounts of carbon.
We're inviting young people aged 15-24 years to join our free, inclusive movement and dance workshop, open to all genders and abilities.
The workshop will be facilitated by Drummoyne-based business Move and Groove, which works to provide dance and movement experiences exploring the freedom, fluidity and fun of dance. No prior dance experience needed, just come along and connect with your inner dancer.
There will be light refreshments available, including vegan options.
