This National Tree Day we are hosting a native seedling giveaway to help green the City of Canada Bay! Planting natives in your garden is a great way to provide important food and habitat resources for our local wildlife such as the Ringtail Possum and the Superb Fairy Wren. 

Visit us at Jellicoe Street Piazza, Concord to collect your free native seedling (limited to 3 per household). You'll also have the chance to chat to Council's experts about what the best plants are for your yard.

Join us for a creative workshop, where you'll learn about local trees while you create a botanical watercolour!

This class will help build your art skills with demonstrations of pencil sketching and watercolour techniques. The emphasis will be on close observation of local tree leaves or flowers, so you'll learn about the value of trees to our environment as well as create a truly unique and meaningful piece of art.

Suitable for adults of all skill levels.
