The Early Signs Workshop is for parents of children aged 5-8 years old.
Anxiety in childhood is common, and it can develop differently for different children. While genetics, biology and temperament play a part, it is the learning influences that are most important, as these can be modified. This two-hour workshop will demonstrate what anxiety looks like, how children respond, the factors that reinforce anxiety and importantly how to build emotion resilience in children and manage those uncomfortable emotions.
Are you the parent of a baby under 10 months old? Join this five-week program that will teach you how to read and respond to your baby's behaviour.
This program runs for one hour on Friday mornings from 11 February to 11 March, and explores the body language of babies and their unique sight, sound, and sensory cues; their ways of telling us what they want.
You will learn how to do baby massage and use it as a method of connection and communication which is effective for settling and sleep problems.
