Planning an event in the City of Canada Bay? Explore our list of pre-approved mobile food vendors to make your event planning easier.
To support local events and streamline the application process, the City of Canada Bay has launched a 12-month trial of the Mobile Food Vendor Permit, as part of the Plug & Play Canada Bay pilot program. This permit aims to simplify and reduce the cost associated with the approval process, making it faster and easier for vendors and event organisers to collaborate and deliver quality experiences at temporary events within our local government area.
If you are an event organiser seeking more information about a particular food vendor, we encourage you to contact the vendor directly.
Permit conditions
Permit trial timeframe is valid from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026.
The permit is valid only for temporary events that have been approved by Council.
Vendors may only operate at events where they have been specifically invited by the event organiser (note, this permit does not grant automatic approval to trade at Council-run or community events).
Vendors must have submitted and completed all required application and notification forms.
If a mobile food vendor has been assessed as non-compliant by Council, Council reserves the right to revoke this permit at any time. Additional fees may apply.
Request mobile food vendor to complete the Temporary Food Vendor Notification Form 14 days before event. Click here to view form.
