In Fridays with my folks, Amal examines how society struggles to deal with ageing and illness, prompted by her own changing relationship with her parents.

With humour, humanity and honesty, Amal shakes off the taboo surrounding one of the most universal of human experiences.

This project aims to understand the importance of early childhood health and development. It is jointly organised by the Multicultural Health Unit, CASS and The Learning Space at The Connection, Rhodes.
