For ages 13 to 18

Learn how to take better photos with your phone or using the tools you already have in our Youth Week Phoneography Workshop! With an emphasis on fun, experimentation and trying new techniques, this workshop will take place in Queen Elizabeth Park and covers basic composition, subject isolation, close up/macro photography and tips for how to use what you already have.

Just bring your smart phone, appropriate footwear, sun protection and your imagination as we show you some basic tips and tricks for taking better pics!

Join us on Thursdays for Open Maker nights, where you can learn, build and make. These casual sessions are an opportunity for you to work with peers, share knowledge, and use our equipment in the Makerspace. Open Maker is your space to create, repairs goods, and be part of a community that enjoys the wonder of making.

This meet-up is free, friendly, and for anyone aged 16 years and older.
